Haiku Wednesday

Kyle has his Hump Day and WTFM posts, Plain Jane has TGIF, so I now present Haiku Wednesday. Hopefully Robin will keep providing material.

So here you have another classic from Robin Z, a Z-aiku if you will. This is one of my favorites.

Why did chicken cross?
She likes dirt. And (dis)mounting.
Badass time-trialist too.

I just don't get Haikus.
I don't.
Sorry.
I still think you are way cool though!

I love it. There's nothing quite like a Z-aiku.

Beth, we're not supposed to "get" it, we just go with the flow bay-be! We miss you down here, glad things are going well in NY.

Beth, five, seven, five.
Number of syllables. Not
twenty-three, eleven.

Get it now? Racers
are poetry in motion
Haiku. Just as cool.

Visit my big dog Baloo
No more a Cujo

Pretty pathetic first ever attempt at a Haiku

Laura - that was awesome - your first Haiku. Way to go, girl!
